Mine craft on iPad isn’t locking the cursor, stopping the game by dropping down menu

I recently got the Logitech pebble 2 combo to use with my iPad and started playing mine craft. After like a week of it working fine, now every single time I play it, the cursor isn’t locked and it stops gameplay or gives restricted movement. I have tried everything, from restarting my game to rebooting my iPad, uninstalling and reinstalling mine craft but still, nothing seems to work. It just drops down the settings menu. It occurs on both single player and multiplayer servers, even if I alter the settings.

I have exaggerated movements in the video but I assure you, this occurs during casual play.
