No end fountain

I was bridging in the end islands, but then I closed Minecraft of the switch. Then, when I opened it again, I was in the end fight, in a block. I started doing the end fight again, but then the dragon perched on nothing. I realized that there was no end fountain at all. When beat it, it regenerated, but I believe that is a serious glitch.
