Issue with auto save mainly with complex add-ons that alter structures but also happens when you have multiple add-ons being used at once. The issue seems to be when the game trys to auto save while chunks are loading in or when you're in combat. The game will start to auto save rapidly then the screen will go black making the game crash. It's a huge bummer when it comes to complex add-ons you paid for like the Eternal End add-on or Better Structures add-on.

Unfortunately I am having trouble trying to make it happen on purpose in the base game so I can record it.
However I have had it happen a few times playing with no add-ons on but it's rare usually happens when traveling fast like using Elytra with fireworks. Chunks try to load while an auto save is in progress and it either freezes or crashes.
Adding add-ons to your world does make it worse causing it to crash more frequently. I'm aware stacking multple add-ons will cause it's own issues, but I can tell you it does happen often with any add-on that alters structures those being ones like
Eternal End by Panascais
Better Structures Add-on by BLOCKLAB Studios
CAVE BIOMES ADD-ON by Glorious Studios
More Simple Structures by Waypoint Studios
Just one of those add-ons causes it to happen more frequently combining two or more of those together or combining any of those with any number of smaller add-ons will cause it to happen every 10 minutes to every few minutes
