Map does not display while holding it. Map will only display if placed into a frame. Compass also will not display while holding.

The compass looks like this yes. The Map is blank like blank paper unless you move then you get see lines that intermittently appear.
Ah. I havE haven't run across that but I have a feeling they are related the bug on the compass is well documented so this may be marked as a duplicate but I have a feeling the two are connected.
