End flashes do appear in ray tracing, but they doesn’t emit any light and they don’t have appearing/disappearing animation. Having end flashes in ray-tracing is cool, so I’d rather this thing to be fixed than removed.

End flashes were never added to ray tracing properly, and before 26.10-26.20, the end flash didn’t appear in RTX. When end flash was added to fancy, the sun was used as the base, which made end flash texture appear in the end sky as the sun. Minecraft RTX used to load sun angle (but it was removed, since developers wanted to prevent deferred sun angle from getting loaded into rtx), but the sun texture position itself can still be changed, which you can see now in the end. Since end flash was not added to RTX properly, it doesn’t have any animation or doesn’t emit any light, but it is still the raytraced object. End flash can be removed by using black pixel as the “end_flash.png” texture, and even the sound can be removed, but the sky light is affected by the end sun, and this issue cannot be resolved without modifying game code. However, you can get the sun angle value from end flash (end sun), so technically, it can be added properly. Ray tracing development was frozen, since the original team left, so adding end flash to RTX can be counted as the new feature, so it might not be added. But in my opinion, everything that works in fancy, should work properely in RTX. The current result with the broken end flash can be counted as the bug, so the only two solutions are: 1. removing end flash from ray tracing; 2. adding the feature properly. There is a chance this bug report will not be reviewed, so that’s just my hope.
