Since preview 26.60, end flash now looks like this. The size is bigger (purple sky colour is caused by volumetric fog).
I am honesly surprised that this bug report doesn’t even have the activity.
Attaching my resource pack file. If the link doesn’t work, please let me know.

I can confirm it happens in latest versions.
I can’t tell what happens if you remove pbr config from regulare resource packs, but I believe the current value is going to be used.
No, it’s not applied for regular blocks. Blocks without PBR value from “pbr/global.json” config, which appears to have fully rough (0, 0, 255) value in vanilla resource packs.
End flashes were never added to ray tracing properly, and before 26.10-26.20, the end flash didn’t appear in RTX. When end flash was added to fancy, the sun was used as the base, which made end flash texture appear in the end sky as the sun. Minecraft RTX used to load sun angle (but it was removed, since developers wanted to prevent deferred sun angle from getting loaded into rtx), but the sun texture position itself can still be changed, which you can see now in the end. Since end flash was not added to RTX properly, it doesn’t have any animation or doesn’t emit any light, but it is still the raytraced object. End flash can be removed by using black pixel as the “end_flash.png” texture, and even the sound can be removed, but the sky light is affected by the end sun, and this issue cannot be resolved without modifying game code. However, you can get the sun angle value from end flash (end sun), so technically, it can be added properly. Ray tracing development was frozen, since the original team left, so adding end flash to RTX can be counted as the new feature, so it might not be added. But in my opinion, everything that works in fancy, should work properely in RTX. The current result with the broken end flash can be counted as the bug, so the only two solutions are: 1. removing end flash from ray tracing; 2. adding the feature properly. There is a chance this bug report will not be reviewed, so that’s just my hope.
I have just checked the translation of the “shelf mushroom” in google translator just to make sure, and yes, it is translated as “трутовик”. Translating “гриб для полки” back to english gives you “shelf mushroom”, but the translation is still incorrect.
Yeah, of course i can. That’s “гриб для полки”.
Hello! I am not sure what do you mean when asking “What are the strings that are used here”, so I am not sure about the answer. Speaking about the correct translation, it is going to be “трутовик“. This is a global term that is used for all mushrooms that usually grow on trees in russian language.
This issue usually happens when you try to search for flower forest abandoned camp variant.
Mojang have fixed some RTX bugs, but not this one. This thing is really annoying, I hope it will be fixed soon.
I’ve noticed that glass has the ability to remoe the fog completely
Hey, I am sorry for making you wait for a long time.
Yes, I can attach a resource pack showcasing this issue. I’ve attached the link to the OneDrive so you can download the pack. Here’s the link: end_portal_issue.mcpack.
Write back soon,
CatLight/Pawslight.
This pack contains to modes. The first one - attempt of setting custom texture to default end portal model. The second one - attempt of setting custom texture to the end portal with blockshape=block. As the result: only particles changes.
This issue is now solved, Ray-traced graphics mode works fine.
This bug has been fixed for Minecraft Preview, and since it was fixed in 26.70 cycle, it will affect 26.60.
