If you switch between graphics modes, game will keep using render distance value from the previous graphics mode you were using.
Example of this issue happening:
When you set your render distance to 24 chunks in ray tracing, and then switch to fancy graphics mode, game keeps using 24 chunks as the render distance, although the ui says the render distance is set to 50. If I have my render distance set to 50 chunks in fancy graphics mode, and set it to 50 chunks, then switch to ray-traced graphics mode, the game will use 50 chunks as render distance, and the UI is going to say it is set to 24 chunks.
Steps to reproduce:
You need to be able to enable ray-traced or vibrant visuals graphics modes.
1. Enter the world with fancy graphics mode.
Without leaving the world. open settings and set your render distance to max value (96 chunks).
Switch to vibrant visuals/ray-traced graphics mode.
Without changing ANY settings, close the settings menu and go back to the world.
You will notice that the game is using 96 chunks as the render distance, although you have different value in game settings, and the value is bigger than max value of render distance for ray-traced or vibran visuals graphics mode.
