Closed captions are cleared everytime a GUI is closed

Since the latest preview, every time you close a GUI, it will cause closed captions to clear every subtitle that are previously shown upon entering a GUI.

Steps to reproduce:

1. (optional) Change the duration of closed captions from 1.5 to 3 or 4 seconds

2. Go breaks a block, or do any kind of action that will causes subtitles to appear

3. Open a GUI (for example, Player Inventory) and then immediately close it

4. Observed

Expected results:
Previously showed subtitle are shown upon exiting the GUI.

Observed results:
Previously showed subtitle briefly appears and then cleared.
