Villagers do not sleep when placed in a basement.
Steps to reproduce
Build a basement with beds.
Place villagers inside.
Wait until night.
Expected result Villagers should pathfind to beds and sleep.
Actual result Villagers remain standing and do not sleep.

Did the villagers link to the beds when placed (indicated by green sparkles)?
It is difficult to see exactly how the beds are placed in each villager cell from the video.
Please answer the specific question asked in the previous moderator comment.
We believe the most likely explanation for your issue is that the villagers are not linked to the beds next to them.
