UI/UX Inconsistency in Difficulty Level Localization (RU)

The Russian localization for difficulty settings is inconsistent across different menu. There is a mismatch in grammatical genders, parts of speech, and terminology.

Observed Results:

  • Menu 1 (Header: "Сложность"): Uses a mix of masculine and feminine adjectives (Мирный, Лёгкая, Нормальный, Сложный).

  • Menu 2 (Header: "Уровень сложности"): Uses adverbs or neuter forms (Мирно, Легко, Нормально, Сложно).

Analysis:

This lack of consistency looks unprofessional. The best practice for Russian UI is to use Feminine adjectives.

Recommended Fix:

Unify all difficulty level names across all UI screens using the Feminine form:

  • Мирная

  • Лёгкая

  • Нормальная

  • Сложная

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Set the language to Russian.

  2. Compare the difficulty selection in the "World Creation" menu versus the in-game "Settings" menu.

Expected Results:

Consistent naming convention (Feminine Adjectives) across the entire interface.

I can confirm the truth of the matter is that Mojang are English-speaking people and they will not be able to understand the essence of the error. Personally, I'm a Russian speaker and I understood everything right away. But not everyone is like me.…

@Tester Hello) Please indicate where you took this screenshot (which you attached to your comment below)? Is this a new translation in the new version 26.30.21?

@EVGENSYPERPRO When you minimize the game, you enter the world settings.

Got it! Thanks for the extra info.

I think that since the header used in that specific menu is "Уровень сложности" (Difficulty level - which is a masculine noun in Russian) rather than just "Сложность" (Difficulty - feminine), the button names should match the main word "Уровень". Therefore, the translation for all the buttons should actually be in the masculine form: Мирный, Легкий, Нормальный, Сложный.

Could you please update your report's description to include the detail about the pause menu and adjust the "Expected Results" to suggest using the masculine forms?
