Short description of the issue
When using a ray tracing-compatible PBR texture pack in Minecraft Preview and turning on Ray Tracing, some textures fail to load or render correctly. The world becomes covered with broken/glitched textures, as shown in the attached screenshot. This makes the game visually unusable in RTX mode.
Steps to reproduce the issue
Launch Minecraft Preview.
Apply a ray tracing-compatible PBR resource pack.
Enter a world where Ray Tracing is available.
Turn on Ray Tracing.
Move around the world and wait for the textures to load.
Observe that many blocks display corrupted or incorrectly loaded textures.
Expected result
The PBR textures should load correctly when Ray Tracing is enabled. Blocks should display their proper RTX/PBR materials, including correct color, normal maps, roughness, and lighting behavior.
Actual result
Many textures do not load correctly and appear heavily corrupted or glitched. Large areas of the world become covered in bright, broken-looking textures, making the scene extremely distorted and difficult to use. The issue happens while Ray Tracing is enabled with a PBR texture pack.
Device / environment
Minecraft version: Preview 26.30.20
Graphics engine: RenderDragon
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Laptop GPU
Graphics API: DirectX 12
Ray Tracing: Enabled
Upscaling: DLSS enabled
OS: Windows
Additional notes
This issue appears to be related to RTX/PBR texture loading or rendering in Minecraft Preview. The same type of PBR resource pack is expected to display normally in ray tracing mode, but in this Preview version the textures become severely corrupted.
