Summary:
When joining a friend through the Social tab or their Profile page, the “Online play is not rated” pop-up appears using the JSON UI. However, when joining a friend through the Worlds menu, the same pop-up correctly uses the Ore UI.
This results in inconsistent UI behavior across different join flows.
Steps to Reproduce:
Install and launch a fresh copy of Minecraft (or delete
options.txtto force the pop-up to appear).Press Play, then open the Social tab.
Select a friend who is currently in a world.
Press the ellipsis button and select Join Game, or
Open their profile and press Join Game.
Observe the “Online play is not rated” pop-up.
Observed Results:
The pop-up uses the JSON UI.
Expected Results:
The pop-up should use the Ore UI, matching the behavior when joining a friend through the Worlds menu.
