spider spawners (both types) have stopped producing spiders. I did search for a bug report but could not see one.
Expected
spiders spawn when close to the spawner
Actual
no spiders spawning
To reproduce just find and in game spawner and stand next to it. I can try and get video if needed but i tried 3 different spawners - 2 cave spiders and a regular one no luck and there was a person on ps5 with me.
** please see sub comment - it appears they are actually just super affected by light now for some reason - even low level ambient light. I had to block off all light almost completely to get spiders to start spawning in. One of my spawners is in an enclosed dungeon with a set of stairs leading to it and it did not spawn spiders in until i blocked off the stairs so light wasn't leaking in from the one block gap.

Thank you for your report. Monsters can only spawn where the block light level is at 0 and the sky light level is <8. You can read about light levels on minecraft.wiki.
cave spider spawners and indeed other spawners have always spawned with some light or they wouldn’t work in mines or require a torch put directly on them. The small amount of light around these should not have affected them the way it did. I will attempt to get a video if possible but they have definitely become overly sensitive.
correction - they are overly affected by light - and seem to be extra slow at spawning insstead of only really stopping when there is a torch on them
