short description:
xbox sync when its fully done deletes world data.
steps to reproduce:
warning: this not an fix as an viewer not mojang dont do this you will lose your worlds this is for mojang to redo the bug to see if its real
Have worlds saved on Xbox with cloud sync enabled
Launch Minecraft Bedrock Edition
Let the sync complete fully
reopen minecraft
expected result:
warning: this for mojang after they remake the bug to know what should happan if they want to fix it not an expected result of fixes.
Worlds should remain intact and accessible after sync completes.
actual result:
warning: this is the result of now after the bug is done. this is for mojang not the viewer
worlds get deleted sometimes telling you you dont have storage sometimes without even telling you
problem:
this is becase the sync says do you know this world adress before actully doing anything and if its there minecraft finds it but if 100% the sync gives stuff to minecraft that minecraft dosnt understand anymore or is an new thing for it so it thinks its saying delete the data there is no storge so it deletes them the first sync that is really fast happans just deletes those addresses but the one with those %s actully deletes your data and people dont know this.
first fix:
notice: do this if your worlds are lost and you didnt do the %s sync fully ever you just seed syncing with no%
my worlds were deleted kinda the game synced and my data was lost but i had an fix sync from the cloud until 50% then cancel this may like me restore your worlds.
second fix(realms backup):
notice: do this for your current worlds and new worlds this may help you needs an computer running windows 10/11
yes this is an real thing and xbox minecraft players have to get realms for an safe backup if you like me can pay also 3.99$ for an backup tab the improtant worlds tab play on realm if you dont have an realm get the realms core for 3.99$ and check its activated before this(i mean in your realms tab you can see it) then select your realm after pressing play on realm then select the first slot and wait come back it will bring you to the realm go to settings saves save current world go an your laptop/PC open minecraft go to the same saves in settings find your manual backup then tab on the there dots then tab download world then go to the world settings export the world it will give you an file and thats your world backup hope this helped.
note(for free backup):
i know there is an app named mc world downloader but it didnt work for i it uses xbox live sync(The problem) and makes the worlds .mcworld but those syncs are ussly curropted beccase of the sync problem this works if you have an version somehow before 2023 the start of this problem and that version should be synced. so this dosnt work at all.

The older bugs may be related to XBOX sync but they are fully different bugs and this started almost in 1.21.120ish and I somehow got a way to fix it at least for myself and also the title to “the duplicate” is failed to sync MC worlds due to lack of save data space (2 GB more for sync is death of sync) this is completely different here the syncing deletes the worlds the syncing is the problem not the fix and I see that the 2 bugs together cause deletion but if one is fixed it makes a better way for a fix and that's deleting worlds that you don’t play so it goes under 2 GB limit but this bug needs to be fixed for the other fix to work that is more useful I just wanted to post and see Mojang fix it I had to pay 3.99 for a 100% safe backup on my PC and I am really sad that this post by Mojang isn't getting any fixes I can't literally play Minecraft on my Series S if I want to I need to know that I fully skip syncing and don't miss one cancel button also then I have to quit Minecraft so quick resume doesn't start syncing this is really hard to bypass I don't know how the Mojang testing team haven’t noticed this yet like XBOX is for Microsoft and Microsoft owns Minecraft also from a view the chain goes like this Microsoft then XBOX then XBOX Game Studios then Mojang Studios like an XBOX should be the best way to play Minecraft not the baddest way after Nintendo Switch Lite. The reason I responded later was because I needed to think about a good comment that is gonna help this report
