My husband and I are not able to play via Lan together since the update, and even since the “fix” was sent out for this specific issue.
I have tried uninstalling the game. I've troubleshot on the Microsoft side, and the issue isn't with my Microsoft account either.
Same wifi, we are friends both on the switch and on Microsoft, but no matter what we try we cannot play via LAN anymore.
I'm at a loss on what to do next, and disheartened.

I've been experiencing this exact problem recently and I was wondering why the recent “fix“ did absolutely nothing to fix this LAN problem..
Experiencing the same issue, glad it’s not just us but unfortunately it’s a critical issue for our play experience. 2x switch lite me and my 8yo son regularly play local multiplayer and it was working fine until 26.20 when the local button at splash disappeared, now that it had reappeared in 26.21 we thought it was fixed but having the same issue as the couple that raised the bug, have tried all our usual resets to try and connect but no sign of another local game by either console.
I also play with my wife who has a regular switch, 26.21 but same issue. Local just isn’t working in this version.
