Story:
I've decided to play Minecraft with my friends properly after months. That’s where i noticed that the issue with the loading screen is still present, the issue where Minecraft takes quite some time to load (which was never the case before the “GDK” conversion update thing). I’m not the type of person who likes saying this but… it’s really frustrating how my friends have to wait for me the whole time and it just ruins my mood. I have started to play the game lesser and lesser after the “GDK” update that i mentioned earlier. The first few weeks Minecraft didn’t even start and kept crashing.
Expectation:
Minecraft should load in an instant (the way it did before the “GDK” update.)
Reality:
Minecraft gets stuck around 51% for a very long time and isn’t as fast as it used to be.
More Details:
I’ve tested this issue by moving the world folder around (which contains around 600 worlds) and starting the game with a freshly created world folder.
Steps on how to reproduce the issue:
1. Start the App “Minecraft for Windows”.
2. If you happen to have around 600 worlds like me, Minecraft will take forever to load.
3. Rename/move the Minecraft world folder and load the game
4. Minecraft should create a new world folder and load in an instant.
