Opening the inventory on a controller with the setting “hide controller cursor"-ON will cause the first highlighted slot to be invisible. The first slot selected upon opening the inventory has also changed for “hide controller cursor “-ON controller.
To produce:
Play Minecraft Becrock Edition on a controller.
Open settings → controller → hide controller cursor → ON
Go into any world and open the inventory.
Expected result:
You would open your inventory, and the first highlighted slot would be on the first slot of the inventory (the Block of Redstone in the attachment).
Actual result:
You open your inventory and see no slot highlighted. The first slot is now on the helmet ARMOR slot (the diamond helmet).
Additional information to understand the attachment:
CORRECT:
The slot with Block of Redstone, which has a green arrow pointed to it, is how it SHOULD be. This is the original slot that has always been the first slot that gets selected upon opening the inventory.
INCORRECT:
Right now, in 26.30, the slot with Diamond Helmet (red arrow and circle) is the first slot that gets selected upon opening the inventory. For clarification, this is BAD.

These issues have already been reported under MCPE-238309 and MCPE-237196.
The Hide Controller Cursor setting is unrelated to either issue. Both issues occur regardless of whether the controller cursor is hidden or visible.
