When a resource pack contains subpacks, if the non-subpack portion attempts to load audio defined with stream: true in sound_definitions.json, it appears that the audio fails to play.
How I noticed the bug:
After updating the game to version 26.30, I noticed that all the custom discs in my resource packs had no sound in the game.
How to reproduce:
1.Download the resource pack I provided. (The Bounce music disc has been replaced with the audio from Lava Chicken.)
Below is the file structure of the resource package I provided:
pack_v1.0.1.mcpack
├─ sounds/
│ ├─ sound_definitions.json
│ └─ music/game/records/bounce.ogg

├─ subpacks/

│
├─ manifest.json
└─ pack_icon.pngSet the subpack to "subpack2" (the subpacks contain music), enter the world, and play the Bounce record; you should hear custom music.
Set the subpack to "subpack1" (the subpacks do not contain music), enter the world, and play the Bounce record; you'll find the jukebox has no sound.
Set the subpack to "subpack0" (Stream set false), enter the world, and play the "Bounce" record; you should hear custom music.(if you don't hear music, try a few more times).
Open manifest.json, find the "subpacks" section, and delete the entire block.
Restart the game to reload the resource pack, and play the Bounce music disc again. The audio will play correctly.
What actually happened:
When subpack1 is selected, playing the Bounce music disc produces no sound.
Expected behavior:
Regardless of which subpack you choose, playing the Bounce record will always play music.
Tested on:
Windows 11
Nintendo Switch 2 (connected to a multiplayer world hosted on Windows 11)
Android (connected to a multiplayer world hosted on Windows 11)

I would be very grateful if the moderator could help remove the old version of the resource pack I uploaded.
