Upon trying to join single-player worlds, a box appears stating that my current skin cannot be used in multiplayer. After selecting “continue,” the “click” noise plays, but the world doesn’t load. Upon going to “edit,” the game says it had trouble loading my world, and I believe it states it is because of my skin. I can’t change it without logging in to PSN, but I can’t. I can create new worlds, but can’t join them.

I have the same issue on the Nintendo Switch and it started after the update to 26.30. On previous versions I would get a similar message when I entered a world but it allowed me to disable the custom skin and keep playing.
Some additional infos:
This only occurs on the user profile of my child. This profile is not connected with a Nintendo account so I can’t change the skin.
The dialog with the message first appeared after I played a split screen session with my main user and the user of my child. Since then the skins of the character of my childs profile would randomly change even in single player offline.
I found a workaround for the issue: If I create a new world exit the world and then try to load my old save it works. But I need to do this every time I close the game.
I hope that this gets fixed soon.
