Leaves of the "fallen birch tree" of the "Birch Forest Abandoned Camp" will never rot

  • Short description of the issue
The trees of the “fallen birch tree“ generated as part of the Birch Forest Abandoned Camp will never rot after the trunk (all of the birch logs) is destroyed.

    1. Create a new world. Make sure you’ve enabled Cheats and Drop 3 of 2026 Experiment.
    2. Use the following command:

    /locate structure minecraft:abandoned_camp_birch_forest

3. Use /tp to go to the coordination of the nearest abandoned camp (in birch foest).

4. And you will sometimes find a “fallen“ birch tree as part of the abandoned camp. Destroy all the birch logs of it. (the trunk)

  • Expected result
The leaves of the “fallen tree“ will rot and disappear after a while, just like nomal trees.

  • Actual result
The leaves stay intact, and will not rot. Even if you turn your random tick speed into a very high value.

This doesn’t appear to be an issue. The leaves are not being removed as the tree that is not fallen is right next to it, meaning those logs are keeping the leaves alive. Closing this as cannot reproduce
