Good day. This world was originally created right after the release of version 26.10 (Tiny Takeover) and was recently updated directly to version 26.31. Following this update, the world has encountered severe optimization and latency issues.
The primary problems are:
1. Chunks take significantly longer to load and render compared to previous versions.
2. There is a massive delay when breaking blocks. The destruction particles take so long to appear due to the engine lag that it is difficult to capture the delay properly in a short video clip.
This is fundamentally an optimization regression in the game engine rather than an issue with my world or device. The world ran perfectly fine on version 26.23 under the exact same conditions and in the exact same areas. The performance drop only manifested after upgrading to 26.31.

Please attach the affected world to this report. If the world is larger than 100 MB, you can upload it to a file-sharing site, such as OneDrive, Google Drive, or Dropbox, and then share the download link.
Good day. Please accept my apologies for the delayed response, as I was at school earlier and could not check the report.
I couldn't upload the files directly here, so I used Google Drive instead. I have provided two versions of the world that are experiencing the exact same issue: one survival and one creative.
Here are the links

[blockCard]Good day. I am updating this report to confirm that the severe chunk loading and block-breaking lag still persists in the new version 26.32. I have attached a new screenshot and a video recording to this report to show that the issue is still happening on the latest patch.
Additionally, to clarify why there is a .zip file inside the behavior packs: this world was originally uploaded to an Aternos server back when version 26.10 was released. I later downloaded the file from the server in April 2026 (before version 26.30 was released) to make it easier to add progress locally. The .zip format is purely a result of that server transfer history.
As of today, June 26, 2026, the performance regression remains completely unresolved. Thank you for your continued help in investigating this issue.
versions 1.20 - 1.28 chunk loading wasnt bad, but now its also near impossible keep chunks loaded, mojang plaese fix this bug
I’ve found a reliable way to reproduce severe chunk freezing in Bedrock with RenderDragon. This issue affects all mobile devices, including iPad. Here’s the simple test…
“All the stuttering and freezing during chunk generation are caused by RenderDragon. For example, when you set the render distance to 2 chunks and let the world generate for a while, the game starts to struggle noticeably. While it's struggling and chunks are still failing to load, try this: immediately open the settings and crank the render distance up to a high value. You’ll then witness what real chunk freezing looks like – the world will completely lock up, chunks stop rendering entirely, and block interactions become delayed or unresponsive.
...block interactions become delayed or unresponsive. This happens on every mobile platform I’ve tested, including iPad.
