Making a 3x3 elevator with droppers didn't work well

I can confirm that this does not work. However, I do not think Mojang wants players to have the ability to make 3x3 glass elevators. The only thing fixed between 1.1 and 1.2 is that items no longer get stuck inside transparent blocks. Rather, they transfer to the nearest open area. So I believe this is working as intended.
