In the latest Preview, cushion now bounces when placed, this wasn't the case in previous preview.
Steps to reproduce:
Give yourself a cushion
Place it
Expected results:
Cushion does not bounce.
Actual results:
Cushion bounce.
Note: this only happens when the cushion is placed on top of full blocks.

I think that isnt a new bug. Every time i place any kind of entity it spawns slightly in the air and then drops on the ground. ( on mobile)
