Steps to reproduce:

  1. Go to Settings > Accessibility and set the Screen Distortion slider to 0%.

  2. Open any world.

  3. Apply the nausea effect using /effect @s nausea infinite 1 true and wait for the green vignette overlay to appear.

  4. Open the inventory, a chest UI, or the pause menu.

Observed results:

Expected results:
The green vignette overlay should remain visible while opening UI screens or the pause menu, fading out only when adjusted via the Screen Distortion settings.
