On PS5, local split-screen does not work. The second controller is fully connected and works on the PS5 home menu, but inside Minecraft nothing happens when pressing the Options button (three lines) on the second controller.
Steps to reproduce:
Player 1 loads a world (new or old).
Player 2 has a controller connected (tried wired + wireless, Guest + normal account).
Press Options button on Player 2 → absolutely nothing happens. No join prompt.
Tried already:
Full game reinstall
Hard restart of PS5
New world
Guest account
Wired controllers
Different accounts
Expected result: Second player should be able to join split-screen.
Actual result: Nothing at all.
