Scripting has 2 APIs for reporting whether a block can be destroyed by liquid spread:
Block#canBeDestroyedByLiquidSpread()BlockPermutation#canBeDestroyedByLiquidSpread()
In general, these APIs seem to work reliably well. But a subset of Vanilla blocks incorrectly report being immune to liquid destruction when they actually are susceptible to such:
Glow berries (all 3)
Pale hanging moss
Weeping vines
Twisting vines
There may be more; the test was not exhaustive.
Demonstration
The attached video demonstrates this issue. The “Report” command blocks have scripting emit a report on the liquid destructibility of the associated blocks. All reports shown indicate these block types should not be water destructible, but they all are.
Reproduction
This example is taken from the behavior pack in the attached world for convenience. This world can be opened (in Minecraft Preview) for inspection or unzipped to access the code associated with such. Ensure content logs are enabled with at least warn level to see the demo.

Interestingly, this set of blocks also seems to emit sounds and particles on liquid destruction whereas most (all?) other blocks don’t.
