[MCPE-24120] Creepers will not spawn in and get stuck in 1.8 block tall areas.

On Minecraft PE version creepers will not spawn in 1.8 block tall area (ie a 2 block tall space with a trap door on the ceiling) like they will in console and PC versions. If they are spawned in a 1.8 block area using spawn eggs they will act as if their head in stuck in the trapdoors and will not move even if a cat near them. They will only move once the trapdoor has been removed. This happens in all game modes. Also their AI is really erratic. They seem to dance in circles before they move.

xbox one has issues with spawns not spawning at all. thy click but nothing comes out.

Same problem as OP. Creepers' hitbox too tall to spawn in 1.8 tall space under trapdoors. Using current version 1.2.1 on iPhone 6 iOS.

This is still an issue in 1.6.1 of bedrock. Creepers will not spawn in 1.8 height areas

This bug is fixed in the latest beta version, and the fix will be included in a future update when that is ready for full release (no specific date can be given). We will leave this ticket open as a point of reference until the fix has been fully released.
