After 26.40 update, game closes itself entirely when using the back button of phone

No matter whatever you're doing in Minecraft, if the back button of Android phones is pressed, the game entirely closes itself just like when the home button of the phones is pressed.

If we already have the home button of phone to entirely close the game and let it stay in the background , why does it work the same thing when the back button of phone is pressed?

By the way, with trying the gesture navigation of Android phones, if the screen’s horizontal edges are swipped (basically the back button work), the game closes too without giving the “ ‘Do you want to exit Minecraft’ (Options: OK / Cancel )” menu in anyway.

It is annoying that when a world is being played ( single player) or a server… (multiplayer) if the back button is pressed, the game entirely closes instead of opening the pause menu.

moreover in the main menu, if back button is pressed, the game shows the “ ‘Do you want to exit Minecraft’ (Options: OK / Cancel )” small menu but it's too late to use it.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open Minecraft (version: 26.40 or 1.26.40) on an Android phone

2. in the Main menu or in a single player world or in a server, press the back button of the phone or swipe the screen from the horizontal edges of the screen

3. You can now see the game entirely closes itself with just using back button work and when you re open, it starts from where u left which is supposed to be used by the home button of phone (because Android keeps closed apps in its background until it is not cleared from the background)
