Description
The input method has these problems in game:
The first Unihan characters typed into the chat box won't show in the box. (MCPE-241422)
"Select" mode is disabled.
Couldn't delete a lot characters by holding Backspace.
Problem #2 & #3 occurs in these following situations:
World name edit box
Sign GUI
Anvil GUI
Chat box
…
How to reproduce
Type some words in places noted above.
Try to select words
Try to hold Backspace(⌫)
Expected result
Words could be selected and several words can be deleted at a time after holding Backspace.
Actual result
The input method failed to select the words; holding Backspace could only delete 1 character.

It is probably because the game treats every character separately, so that the input method cannot delete and select more than 1 character.
It seems like you have the exact same problem as me. It is very inconvenient that I currently cannot select all, copy, or paste. (MCPE-241178)
