Summary:
Minecraft Bedrock supports single-player pausing, but the pause is always tied to opening the menu interface. In Java Edition, pressing F3 + Esc pauses the game without showing the pause menu on screen. Currently in Bedrock, there is no way to keep the game paused with a clear view of the screen. This makes it hard to inspect details or perform side-by-side comparisons between versions.
Steps to reproduce:
Join a single-player world in Bedrock Edition.
Pause the game.
Try to hide the pause menu UI while keeping the game paused, or press F3 + Esc on keyboard.
Observed results:
The game can only be paused with the menu UI visible on screen.
Expected results:
The game can be paused without showing the menu UI, matching Java Edition behavior when pressing F3 + Esc.
