Description
In Creative mode, when a tipped arrow passes through a player character, the player incorrectly receives the potion effect associated with that arrow. This occurs even though Creative mode players are expected to be immune to all externally applied status effects.
A concrete example: while in Creative mode, I was standing between a stray and an iron golem. The stray shot a tipped arrow (of Slowness) at the golem, and as the arrow passed through my character, I unexpectedly received the Slowness effect. This behaviour is inconsistent with Creative mode's intended immunity.
Steps to Reproduce
Enter a world in Creative mode.
Spawn a stray (or any mob that can shoot tipped arrows) and an iron golem (or any target) at a distance from each other.
Position your Creative-mode player character directly between the stray and the golem.
Allow the stray to shoot a tipped arrow at the golem, so that the arrow's flight path passes through your character.
Observe whether your character receives the potion effect (e.g., Slowness) after the arrow passes through.
Expected Behavior
In Creative mode, tipped arrows should not apply any potion effect when they pass through a player. The arrow should behave like a normal arrow—passing through harmlessly without triggering effect logic—because Creative mode players are supposed to be immune to externally inflicted status effects.
Actual Behavior
The arrow incorrectly triggers its effect application when it passes through the Creative mode player, granting the player the corresponding status effect (in my case, Slowness from a stray's arrow).
Notes
This issue affects all types of tipped arrows (Slowness, Harming, Poison, etc.) and any mob that shoots them (strays, pillagers, players, etc.).
In multiplayer, it also affects other Creative mode players when any tipped arrow passes through them.
This may be related to existing issues such as [MC-106311] (picking up tipped arrows in Creative adds them to inventory) and [MC-93619] (shooting tipped arrows in Creative consumes arrow count). Please check for possible connections.
