Player-thrown snowballs, wind charges and splash potions all activate nearby sculk sensors in both editions. However, their interaction with sculk shriekers differs between Java Edition and Bedrock Edition.
In Java Edition, all three consistently cause the activated sculk sensor to alert a nearby sculk shrieker under the same test conditions.
In Bedrock Edition, snowballs and splash potions only sometimes cause the activated sensor to alert the shrieker, while wind charges consistently activate only the sensor and never the shrieker during my testing.
This may be a parity issue between Java Edition and Bedrock Edition.
Steps to reproduce
Place a sculk sensor within range of a sculk shrieker.
Stand several blocks away and throw a snowball, wind charge, or splash potion near the sculk sensor.
Repeat the test several times with each projectile.
Compare the results between Java Edition and Bedrock Edition.
Observed result
The sculk sensor is activated every time in both editions.
In Java Edition, the sensor consistently alerts the nearby sculk shrieker for all three projectiles.
In Bedrock Edition, snowballs and splash potions only inconsistently alert the shrieker, while wind charges consistently activate only the sensor, never the shrieker, during testing.
Expected result
Both editions should behave consistently. If player-thrown projectiles are intended to alert nearby sculk shriekers, Bedrock Edition should match Java Edition.
