Cushions Disappearing When Reloaded

Upon reloading a chunk in which cushions have been placed as mostly submerged within other blocks will have disappeared, with no dropping of the cushion item.

In my observations, it tends to happen when a cushion shares a space with another block while still allowing the cushion to exist and not get popped off, and upon leaving and reloading the chunk after a while, some cushions will have disappeared. However i did see it happen with standalone cushions too.

The distances at which i leave the chunk and then come back to are pretty great, meaning that i teleport away a few thousand blocks away, unloading the chunks, and then teleport back after some time, only to find some cushions gone. This tends to happen a lot in my world, which lead to more and more cushions to disappear each time this traveling back and forth happened.

On my personal world this happens both around spawn and far away, whereas on a test world, i couldn’t replicate the same effect at spawn, but it did happen with the second test group which were placed 10.000 blocks away from spawn on both axes. I teleported back and forth a few times at around 2-5 minute intervals and each time a cushion got randomly removed from the smaller group.

Additionally, on my world, Education Edition was turned on, but on the test world it was not; and then Vibrant Visuals were used on both; yet despite these, the effects remain largely the same.
