Platform: Minecraft Bedrock Edition
Summary:
When editing a world’s settings, disabling a texture pack does not work. The pack automatically re-enables itself and reappears in the active pack list. The only workaround currently is to fully uninstall or delete the pack. Additionally, if the pack is a Marketplace pack, disabling it forces the game to require re-downloading the pack just to load the single-player world
Create a new world with a texture pack applied (especially a Marketplace pack).
Quit the world.
Go to Edit World settings.
Attempt to disable the texture pack.
Expected Result:
The texture pack should disable normally and stay disabled.
Actual Result:
The texture pack re-enables itself automatically after being disabled.
If the pack is from the Marketplace, disabling it triggers a forced re-download prompt in order to join the single-player world.
Workaround:
Fully uninstalling/deleting the texture pack removes it, but this isn’t a real fix since the pack should be disable-able without deletion.
