DESCRIPTION OF BUG
Minecraft has been working normally for me, but immediately after updating to Minecraft Bedrock version 26.50 (Wilderness Bound), several parts of the game’s user interface became invisible.
On the main menu, the rotating background continues moving normally, so the game is not frozen, but skins do not load. When I select Play, the worlds interface is invisible. The Settings interface is also invisible, as well as other buttons/interfaces such as News and Dimension Clash.
When I enter a world, the touchscreen controls are invisible. The buttons are still interactive and can be pressed, but they cannot be seen. I also cannot scroll through interfaces normally. The text-to-speech feature is enabled unexpectedly.
The same issue occurs in multiple menus and interfaces, making Minecraft effectively unplayable.
I have seen other people reporting what appears to be the same issue on social media and in other bug reports.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
On an iOS device, update Minecraft Bedrock Edition to version 26.50 (Wilderness Bound).
Open Minecraft Bedrock Edition.
From the main menu, select Play.
Observe that the worlds interface is invisible.
Return to the main menu and select Settings.
Observe that the Settings interface is invisible.
Check the main menu and Dressing Room and observe that skins do not appear.
Enter a world.
Observe that the touchscreen controls are invisible.
EXPECTED RESULT
The main-menu skins should load normally.
The Play, Settings, News, and other interfaces should be visible and usable. Menus should be scrollable, and touchscreen controls should be visible when playing a world. Text-to-speech should remain in its previous setting rather than becoming enabled unexpectedly.
ACTUAL RESULT
Skins do not load on the main menu or in the Dressing Room. The worlds interface, Settings interface, News interface, and other interfaces are invisible.
When playing a world, the touchscreen controls are invisible, although they are still interactive. Other interfaces and controls are also invisible, and text-to-speech is enabled for some reason.
OTHER INFORMATION
I have:
Restarted my iPhone multiple times.
Offloaded Minecraft and reinstalled it.
Made sure that storage is not an issue on my iPhone or in Minecraft.
The issue still occurs after doing these.
