White screen crash on startup (Generates .dmp and crashedsession files) on iPad

Minecraft crashes immediately on launch on my iPad. It shows a white screen and then force-closes to the home screen. The game generates ".dmp", "crashedsession", and "NonAssertError Log" files in the Files app. This happens even after a clean reinstall and without any internet connection.

Error files (.dmp, crashedsession) and a corrupt "xal" folder are generated in the Minecraft directory.
