After the new recent update game crashes when opening

The Minecraft app will crash when I open it. This is after the recent open 26.50 and the hotfix update 26.51. After the hotfix update game still crashes every time I open the app. My device is compatible with the newest game drop however the app will not work when I open it and will crash and go back to my device main Home Screen. I have seen on multiple social media sites that many people are having issues with this. It’s seems to be an issue with the players who have IOS devices and I’m not the only person that is having issues. This really needs to be fixed. An entire gaming community enjoys this app and really wants this to get fixed.
