Mouse glitching when in viewing inventory or any crafting

When I’m either viewing my inventory or trying to craft something, my mouse seems to have a mind of its own. Sometimes it wont click on something or it will grab something and not let it go. Sometimes if I pick up something that has multiple items in a stack it will spread it over my empty inventory slots on its own. When I click on a sign it won't let me write on the sign either. It opens the sign and then close the sign before I could write anything.
