Dismissing the mobile keyboard or using the backspace key completely closes the chat interface

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open the in-game chat window on a mobile device.

2. Tap the text box to bring up the virtual touch keyboard and type a message.

3. Try to press the "X" or backspace key to quickly delete a word, or lower/dismiss the keyboard to tap the send button manually.

Observed results:
Holding the backspace/X key requires deleting character by character instead of a quick continuous erase. Furthermore, lowering or dismissing the virtual keyboard interface causes the entire chat screen to unexpectedly close completely, losing the typed message.

Expected results:
Holding the delete key should clear text efficiently, and dismissing the keyboard layout should leave the chat log window open so the player can still view messages or tap the send button.
