Cushion entity height incorrectly lowered compared to previous versions

The height of the Cushion entity has incorrectly decreased compared to previous versions. In Bedrock Edition releases 26.50, 26.51, and 26.52, the Cushion sits lower than it did in earlier versions.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Use any of the affected Bedrock versions (26.50, 26.51, or 26.52).

  2. Place two top snow layers.

  3. Place a cushion on top.

  4. Replace the snow layer with a stair or slab block.

Observed Results
The Cushion is no longer visible and becomes completely hidden inside the block. It also can no longer be interacted with (sat upon). Using a command to summon a Cushion at 0.3 height within a block allows interaction, but only when facing a specific direction.

Expected Results
The Cushion should protrude just enough to expose one surface, and interacting with any part of that surface (looking at it from any angle) should allow the player to sit on it.

Additional Information
Please fix this bug. The Cushion is an extremely useful item—combined with top snow, it allows players to create a wide variety of polished builds. Due to this bug, many creative designs and practical builds that worked in previous versions are now broken, which significantly hurts the player experience. I would be very grateful if you could fix this.

for some network reasons, i cannot upload any picture or video temporarily, i’m sincerely sorry. and i didn’t equip any addons.

I think that was an intentional bug fix, there was a bug report during the development cycle about cushions being raised slightly instead of scaled down, and it was patched in the release.

This is working as intended per the fix to MCPE-240468 .
