npc's overwriting other npc's

npc’s are widely used to make dialogue interfaces and interactions and with the /dialogue command it is possible to make links between npc’s.

so i dont know how it exactly happens i just know it happend pretty frequently when working with connected npc’s and editing them.

so npc’s store a dialogue and a set of commands and those are both unique to destuinguish them from one other. however i noticed in the last year, where really got to learn the entity, i noticed that npc’s sometimes overlap data and erase data from an npc when entering an npc from another and start editing them.

replicate: spawn two npc’s, tag one npc: npc2. and one: npc1. edit npc1 and give it a button command with /dialogue open @n[type=npc,tag=npc2] @initiator. now without leaving the npc go to the dialogue and open npc2 through the button you just made. in npc2, make some commands and write some dialogue and to mess it more up link it back to npc1. after messing not so long maybe opening and re-entering the npc the same way it appears that npc2 or 1 has completely wiped his old data and copied the entire command and dialogue set from the other npc.

this is very frustrating especially when working with so many npc’s. it is unreliable. if someone could find out exactly how it is possible the data gets worn over please notify me, i really dont want to lose any more npc data due to this.
