All items disappear when placed in the Blast Furnace and Smoker.

After the update, whenever I try to place ore in the Blast Furnace, it disappears. I click on the Blast Furnace, place the ore and the coal, and everything closes automatically. When I open it again right afterward, there is nothing inside, even though the Blast Furnace still appears to be active externally. The same thing happens with the Smoker. Even if I put lava buckets or coal in it, it always closes automatically and everything disappears.

I saw that this issue had already been marked as reported and resolved, but it is still happening to me.

It makes no difference whether I am online or offline, which materials I put in to smelt/cook, or which fuels I use—the error is always the same.

I am playing the Vanilla Beta version, with no mods or additional packs installed.
