Hello Minecraft Support,
I can't sign in to my Microsoft account in Minecraft Bedrock for Android. The game restarts every time at the end of the sign-in step.
Device: Samsung Galaxy A17 (SM-A175F)
Software: Android 16, One UI 8.5 (build A175FXXS7CZI4)
Minecraft version: v26.30 (same behavior on v26.52)
What happens:
1. I tap Sign In. Chrome opens the Microsoft login page and I choose my account.
2. Microsoft asks "Are you trying to sign in to Minecraft for Android?" and I tap Continue.
3. Minecraft restarts from the loading screen after a black screen of about 3 seconds, shows "Resources failed to load previously", and I am still signed out.
The game also restarts when I switch to another app and come back, while my other apps stay open.
Friends signed in without any problem using the same game version on their phones. I also found other Galaxy users reporting that Minecraft broke after the One UI 8.5 update (bug report MCPE-239281), and I am not sure whether it is the same issue. Could this be a compatibility problem between Minecraft and One UI 8.5?
What I already tried: restarting the phone, clearing the Minecraft cache and data, reinstalling the game, installing Microsoft Authenticator, Chrome as the default browser, automatic date and time, a different network, and battery optimization is off for Minecraft.

Can you record a video of the issue and upload it?
Did the issue happen only once, or does it occur consistently?
Are there any background processes or applications running that might interfere with the game's performance?
