In the compact mode of the PC XBOX app, there’s a “Jump back in” section where it shows the games you recently played and lets you conveniently reopen them. However, for the stable version of Minecraft, it shows the Minecraft Launcher instead of the base game, because the game is considered a DLC of the launcher in the app, which is inconvenient and unnecessary since Bedrock does not need a launcher to launch. Minecraft Preview does not have this issue.
Steps to reproduce this issue:
Open the PC XBOX app.
Click on your profile image in the top-left, go to Settings, App, then enable “Compact mode“.
Launch Minecraft, then close it after you’ve entered the main menu.
Check the “Jump back in” setion in the PC XBOX app.
Do it again for Minecraft Preview or any other game.
Expected result:
After you’ve closed the stable version of Minecraft, “Minecraft for Windows“ should be the game shown in the “Jump back in” section, not the “Minecraft Launcher“, since you don’t need a launcher to launch Minecraft.
Actual result:
Every other game shows itself in that section, but for the stable version of Minecraft, it only shows “Minecraft Launcher“, which is completely irrelevant to the game itself.
