Description:
When in my Bedrock super flat world on my Android Phone, I noticed a weird rendering bug where slime cubes, when seen through a slime block, looked the same as they did as seen through empty space. This issue does not affect any other mob or block.
Steps to Reproduce:
Join Minecraft Beta on Bedrock on an Android phone, and create a super flat world, with one layer of grass, 50 layers of stone, and one layer of Bedrock. Create a wall or box of slime blocks separating the player from a slime cube.
Expected Result:
Slime block renders normally through the slime block, with the slime block’s texture overlaid onto the background like all translucent blocks do
Actual Result:
The slime cube is seen clearly through the slime block, almost as if there is no block between the player and the slime.
Version Disclaimer:
While my phone is on 26.60.21, there was no version drop-down, or available update for my phone, so I put it here under 26.52 hot fix, the closest version to my Beta 26.60.21
