Two-Block-Tall Mobs (Zombies, Creepers) Cannot Fall Through brittle Ice

Description:
In beta 26.70.21, a bug was fixed that prevented players from falling through fragile ice (also known as "thin ice" or "cracked ice") when standing at the center of a block. However, this fix was not extended to two-block-tall mobs such as zombies and creepers. When these mobs stand on the center of a fragile ice block and it breaks, they briefly fall a small distance but are then pushed back up by the regenerating ice instead of falling through, unlike the player.

How to Reproduce:

  1. Place a fragile ice block (e.g., through commands or natural generation in icy biomes).

  2. Spawn a zombie or creeper directly on top of the block, centered as precisely as possible.

  3. Wait for the fragile ice to break under the mob's weight (or trigger it manually if possible).

  4. Observe the mob's behavior as the ice breaks and regenerates.

Observed Result:

  • When the fragile ice breaks, the zombie or creeper begins to fall downward slightly.

  • However, as the ice block quickly regenerates, it pushes the mob back up to the surface.

  • The mob remains standing on the ice instead of falling through the newly formed hole.

  • The same issue does not occur with players in the same version, as they now fall through correctly.

Expected Result:

  • Two-block-tall mobs (zombies, creepers, and other similar-sized entities) should fall through fragile ice when it breaks under them, just like players do after the 26.70.21 fix.

  • The ice should not regenerate fast enough to push them back up if they are centered on the block.

  • Consistent behavior should apply across all entity types with similar hitbox dimensions.

Additional Notes:
This parity issue leaves a significant gap in the fix intended for fragile ice mechanics. If players can fall through centered on a block, mobs of comparable size should as well. This affects trap designs, mob farms, and other contraptions that rely on fragile ice as a one-way platform or drop mechanism. Extending the same collision and positioning logic that applies to players to these mob types would resolve the inconsistency.
