Windows devices with touchscreen support disable interactions with mouse/trackpad

Issue:
After updating to version 26.60, Minecraft no longer registers mouse/trackpad clicks (left and right click) but does however allow touchscreen interactions and controlling the UI and game with the keyboard, This is the case no matter the device’s hinge position/touchscreen mode (indicated in Windows by larger UI elements and mobile-ish taskbar).

(Check attached media)
What I tried:

  1. Repairing Minecraft through Windows’s settings app doesn’t solve the issue.

  2. Restarting the game multiple times

How to reproduce:

  1. Get a touchscreen device running Windows 11 (2-in-1, or standard form factor)

  2. Open Minecraft: Bedrock Edition

  3. Try interacting with the mouse first, then keyboard, then touch with the display.

Notes:

  • It is important to note however that the game initially did detect them on first start of the update, but didn’t after subsequent launches.

  • It is also important to note that the operating system did not update, restart, shut down or changed since the initial launch.

Edit: This issue seems to be non consistent and randomly resolves itself but it is nonetheless a bug

It also disables the use of my controller.

I don't even have a touch screen and I cant play my favorite game!
