Description
Point lights cause shading glitches on block surfaces that have height or normal maps (visible most on normal maps), specifically when point light quality is set to ultra. Most of the glitches disappear when the setting is changed to high.
Steps to reproduce
Apply the provided example pack (which adds a simple 'round' normal map to cobblestone, and makes the texture a uniform color to make shading more visible).
Ensuring the Render Dragon Features for Creators experiment is enabled, enter a world, set point light quality to high, and place a torch next to cobblestone.
Change point light quality to ultra, and look for new surface shading glitches on the cobblestone.
Observed Behavior
When set to ultra, dark lines appear in various parts of the texture, which are not there in the normal map. When set to high, it appears as expected.
Expected Behavior
Artifacts should not appear on any block light quality setting, especially higher settings.
