Bogged and Parched ranged attack interval is still not the same as Java

Since 26.30 Chaos Cubed, a longtime annoying bug where skeletons and their variants shoot faster than Java has been fixed, to be difficulty-based instead of distance-scaled. So now skeletons and strays now shoot every 3 seconds on Easy and Normal difficulties, and every 2 seconds on Hard difficulties.

However, bogged and parched’s shooting intervals do not match Java Edition, despite what it says in the 26.30 changelog, being only 0.5 seconds different than skeletons and strays instead of 1.5 seconds different.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Spawn a bogged or parched.

  2. Change difficulty to Normal.

  3. Switch to survival.

  4. Let the bogged or parched attack you and count how many seconds are in between their shots.

Expected results:

  • They shoot every 4.5 seconds, matching Java Edition.

Actual results:

  • They shoot every 3.5 seconds, being slightly faster than on Java.

Additional notes:

  • 3.5 seconds is supposed to be the interval on Hard difficulty instead of Easy and Normal.

  • Bogged and parched shoot every 2.5 seconds on Hard difficulty on Bedrock, as it says in the code.

  • The intervals in the 1.21 Tricky Trials changelog are the intervals on Hard difficulty.

  • I attached videos of Java and Bedrock comparisons with stopwatches. The Java video is from MCPE-178882, to give credit.
