Guardians not spawning.

I converted my world to Xbox one beta and my guardian farm isn't working guardians aren't spawning, it's in ocean temple location.
In 1.2.3 it has fixed this problem in previous converted worlds. But the game is still not recognizing the Temple in newly converted worlds after 1.2.3 . What I mean by that is if a player converts a world after 1.2.3 any temples that been generated before conversation won't spawn Guardians. But worlds that was in 1.2.2 been fixed.

It's like the game just doesn't recognize the structures after conversation. And it would be annoying to have an update every time a player converts a world to fix this problem. 😲☹😵😦.

Windows 10 Version 1.2.0.31 is also affected by this. No guardians are spawning in the guardian farm that was working correctly a couple of weeks back. No design changes have taken place, just game version updates.

Having the same issue on iOS and Android devices. Guardians no longer spawn in worlds created before 1.2.

However, they are spawning as normal in new worlds created in 1.2

EDIT: After further testing, it seems that only Monuments discovered before the update are affected. I have searched for a new Monument in one of my old worlds and it is also spawning Guardians as normal.

I am having the same issue. I just converted to 1.2. I have only checked the two monuments I have discovered and guardians were not spawning in either of them.

I have spent months building a base centered around my guardian farm. This is causing prismarine to be unavailable in my world. Please fix, Mojang 😉

I did a little further testing and I'm not sure that it is a world conversion problem. I created a new world of the same seed as my previous one. And then checked out the ocean monuments. There were guardians there upon arrival, but after changing the difficulty to peaceful (to clear out the guardians) and then back to normal, guardians did not respawn at the monument.

I searched for a new ocean monument in my world and when I found one there were guardians. I tore it down and built a new guardian farm (similar to docms version) and a whopping 0 guardians have spawned since. Very depressing considering how much time is spent (or wasted in this case) taking on such an undertaking. So that's two for two monuments now in my single player world that aren't spawning guardians. The size of the farm is roughly 70 length and width and from about 39 to ocean level. Roof is covered and surrounding caves all lit up. Chunk load distance I played with starting at 12 then 16 then 8.... No change. Latest update released a couple of days ago 1.2.081 I believe? Problem still exists both win 10 and android MCPE versions.

It's not fixed. Guardians are still not spawning in my single player world. (Updated to 1.2.3 both android and windows 10) my world was created before the together beta came out.

I play on the Xbox platform and it seems to fixed the 1.2.2 and below worlds in 1.2.3 but I guess it didn't in Android and Windows 10. It still doesn't fix worlds converted after 1.2.3.

Win 10 version 1.2.3, Difficulty: Hard. SPS world created before BT update.

Immediately after the 1.2.3 update, a few guardians re-spawned at my small guardian farm when I visited it, but after 7.5 hours of overnight AFK, (AFK spot directly underneath ocean monument at bedrock level) no more guardians appeared.

Saved and quit, then re logged in : No guardians after 1.75 hours AFK.

Saved and exited MC fully, then re log: No guardians after 2 hours AFK.

They are spawning for me as of December 2 2017 latest builds for MCPE and windows 10, but the guardian swim behavior changed - they swim upstream which renders most guardian farms useless. Nothing quite like wasting a ton of hours making something only to find out it's not going to work anymore. Not cool.

Still not resolved in Xbox version better together update. Spent over 30+ to build it in early game and I get 2 spawns every hour if lucky however the monument multiple chunks away are getting around 20+ spawns

Mine one no guardian spawn as well. It is a very old ocean monument that I discovered quite sometime ago and today I decided to defeat it. I found the 3 elder guardians and killed them. However, I couldn't see any guardian inside or outside the monument. Is there a plan or workaround to fix the old ocean monument? The ticket is marked as resolved I guess it is only resolving newly generated ocean monument?
